Elite Boutique Literary Consultancy and Representation

One Book-Three Publishing Paths

No two books begin in the same place. Neither should their publishing strategy. Every MLG engagement is privately scoped around the author, the manuscript, and where the book needs to go.

AALA Disclaimer: Mangus Literary Group holds itself to the professional and ethical standards set forth by the Association of American Literary Agents (AALA) and has submitted a formal application for membership. Membership status is pending as of this writing. This page will be updated to reflect any change in membership status once a determination has been made. Representation is offered solely at the discretion of Mangus Literary Group and only upon mutual agreement, typically formalized through a signed representation agreement.

One Book-Three Publishing Paths

Mangus Literary Group engagements are comprehensive, author-specific five-figure investments and are privately scoped following an initial project review. This investment depends on the manuscript stage, project complexity, publishing path, and author objectives.

Traditional Publishing (Agent Guided)

We build the book and position it for the traditional publishing marketplace. The engagement can include the complete MLG Book Build, commercial book proposal, market positioning, comparative-title strategy, author positioning, pitch materials, publisher-ready manuscript preparation, and traditional publishing strategy. Outcome: Publisher-and Agent Ready Book and Package.

MLG Hybrid Publishing (Agent Guided)

Develop the book at an agency level and professionally bring it to market. This path combines the core book build with professional publishing execution: editorial production, cover and interior design, metadata, ISBN and distribution setup, production management, publication, and launch preparation.
Outcome: Published for Market Success.

Independent Imprint (Agent Guided)

Don't just own the book. Own the publishing platform behind it. This engagement uses the same high-level Book Build and professional production standards, but the author publishes through an imprint they control.
MLG can help establish the publishing identity and infrastructure, coordinate production and distribution setup, and prepare the author to operate the imprint as a long-term intellectual-property asset. Outcome: Your Imprint is The Publisher.
