Marie Ellis

Marie Ellis is a Sunday Times number 1 bestselling ghostwriter and editor for books in both the UK and the US. With nearly two decades of experience as a journalist, writer and editor, she has worked on health and wellness books, as well as memoir, business, and academic texts. She owns her own content agency and helps businesses and individuals tell their stories through the written word.

As former Editorial Director at ZOE and Managing Editor at Healthline and Medical News Today, Marie is particularly skilled at taking complex science and health information and making it accessible to a wider audience. She is a keen storyteller and uses her journalism skills when interviewing her ghostwriting clients to turn their experiences into compelling stories for the reader.

When she’s not writing for clients, she’s still writing (yes, really). In her spare time, Marie writes her own fiction. She also performs regularly in improv shows at the UK’s first full-time dedicated improv theatre in Bristol. A seasoned traveller, she was born in the US and has lived abroad for more than half her life, mostly in the UK.
